TEDxUNYP Poster Design: Breaking Barriers
Innovative Visual Communication and Illustration for TEDxUNYP: Breaking Barriers
For the design, I reimagined the iconic TEDx "X" as a structure made of bricks, symbolizing the barriers the speakers would address and ultimately break through. Surrounding the "X," I incorporated symbolic representations of the speakers, each element capturing the spirit of their talks and the diversity of their perspectives.
The final poster was produced in three striking color variants, ensuring visual impact across various formats and locations. It was prominently displayed throughout Prague—on city lights, metro stations, and billboards—amplifying the message of breaking barriers and celebrating the power of ideas worth spreading.
Rozhodla jsem se přepracovat ikonické „X“ z loga TEDx a proměnit ho ve strukturu z cihel, která symbolizuje bariéry, které řečníci překonávají. Kolem tohoto „X“ jsem zakomponovala symbolické motivy, které vystihují podstatu jejich vystoupení a rozmanitost jejich pohledů.
Plakát byl vytvořen ve třech výrazných barevných variantách, aby upoutal pozornost v různých formátech i prostředích. Byl vystaven po celé Praze – na citylightech, v metru i na billboardech – a přenášel poselství o bourání bariér a oslavě síly myšlenek, které stojí za to šířit.
